New 'Best of both' offering

We have received a very positive reaction to the launch of our online program, K+ Live. What students all seem to agree on, however, is that there is no substitute for travelling abroad and learning through an immersive experience. We at Kaplan couldn’t agree more!

As a result, we have been working on a new offering that blends our successful online program in the short term with our traditional face-to-face classes once our schools are open. The idea is that you can start your studies immediately online using K+ Live, and then travel to one of our schools later in the year, at a special, reduced tuition rate.

Best of Both offers Kaplan General, Semi-Intensive and Intensive courses, as well as selected business and exam preparation programs, when booking at least two weeks of our K+ Live online classes before October 31, starting before the end of 2020. Students can then, as circumstances allow, travel to start in our schools up to March 31, 2021.

The same tuition fee will apply to both the online and in-school aspect of the course for the full duration of the booking. These rates will apply to every school in each destination country, regardless of their current pricing, in some cases there are savings of up to 50%. There is no additional summer supplement or enrolment fee. And we will back this offer with our Book with Confidence Guarantee  – if you are unable to travel because of COVID-19 related restrictions, you can postpone the course or take it online instead.

Are Kaplan schools open?

Are Kaplan schools open?

The health, safety and well-being of students, staff, and host families is of paramount importance to all of us at Kaplan International Languages. Due to the spread of Coronavirus, we have temporarily suspended face-to-face teaching in some of our schools (check at top of page for countries) and have implemented online learning instead.

Online classes will be as similar as possible to actually being in the school. In most cases they will be with the same teachers, for the same number of hours at the normal schedule. The lessons can be accessed from laptops, computers and phones. Students can participate fully, both by speaking and in writing. There are extensive group activities and presentations, quizzes and polls. Teachers will measure progress through continuous assessment and by regular tests using our proprietary adaptive test, KITE. Students also have full access to K+ Online and K+ Online Extra tools as normal.
